About BFZC
Built for Zero Canada is an ambitious national change effort helping a core group of leading communities end chronic homelessness and veteran homelessness - a first step on the path to eliminating all homelessness in Canada.
Ending homelessness is possible and we will do whatever it takes to achieve our goal.
Our Goal
Building on the momentum of our 20,000 Homes Campaign, our goal is to help a core group of leading communities end chronic homelessness and veteran homelessness – a first step on the path to eliminating all homelessness in Canada.
Our Method
Our structured, supportive and data-driven approach focuses on optimizing local homeless systems, accelerating the adoption of proven practices and driving continuous improvement.
The Movement
Is it really possible to end homelessness? We know it’s possible, it’s already been done! In the US, five communities have ended chronic homelessness, 12 have ended veteran homelessness, and three have ended both, and more are on the path to get there.
Canada
This project is funded in part by Veteran Affairs Canada and Infrastructure Canada.
